Lazio boss Stefano Pioli has revealed that his team will continue working hard in order to prepare for the start of the new Serie A season.
The Biancocelesti are set to kick off the 2014-15 campaign against AC Milan on August 31 and the tactician insists that he will have his squad focus on taking down one opponent at a time.
Pioli spoke through Lazio’s official Twitter page about the release of the upcoming season’s fixtures and the excitement surrounding the start of a new campaign, while also commenting on the capital city club’s mission to continue making any necessary improvements in the coming weeks.
“It’s an exciting start. We must work well so we can be ready,” said the 48-year-old coach, who signed on to replace Edy Reja as Aquilotti boss in June.
“The calender is always difficult to judge. We will tackle them all one by one.
“The most important thing is to work well and hard in order to be completely ready for the beginning of the championship.”
