Roma have finalized the signing of former Barcelona starlet Antonio Sanabria to a long-term contract.
The 18 year-old Paraguayan was a product of Barcelona’s youth academy before joining Sassuolo last January.
However his stay with the Neroverdi was brief as it was believed the Giallorossi sent him to the Emilia-Romagna club ahead of a summer move to the capital.
Both Barcelona and Sassuolo have been compensated with €2.5 million and €2.4m respectively, with the Blaugrana possibly receiving up to €7m depending on the performance of the player and the Giallorossi.
Sanabria signed a five-year contract which will expire in June 2019.
