Roma defender Jose Angel is set to join Portuguese Primeira Liga side Porto and a deal could be finalized on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Spainish full-back was signed from La Liga side Sporting Gijon in 2011 by ex-Roma coach Luis Enrique to replace the departed John Arne Riise and made 27 appearances in his first season in the capital but has spent the last two season’s on loan at Real Sociedad since Enrique left the Giallorossi in 2012.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, a deal could be announced on Sunday with the player expected to sign a two year deal with the Dragoes.
It’s also worth mentioning Angel has four caps for the Spainish under-21 side and is product of Sporting Gijon’s prolific youth academy Mareo.
