Dynamo Kiev have turned down an €18 million offer from Roma for forward Andriy Yarmolenko.
The talented 24 year-old foward had a fine season with Dynamo scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances, and has been described as the new Andriy Shevchenko given his similar physique and speed.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Dynamo are holding out for close €25m despite his contract expiring in June 2015.
Roma hope to continue building heading in to the new season after the recent signings of Ashley Cole, Salih Ucan and Urby Emanuelson.
Yarmolenko holds a Ukraine national team record by scoring after only 14 seconds against Uruguay in a friendly in 2011.
