Roma have reportedly completed the signing of Seattle Sounders full-back DeAndre Yedlin.

The 21-year-old had been linked with a move to Serie A with Inter and Napoli showing interest, but the capital club have won the race for his signature.

According to Sky, the Giallorossi have signed the USA international for a reported €3.7 million fee, with the American set to join the club in January 2015.

The report also states that Roma owner James Pallotta played a part in the deal going through, as he wanted a United States representative in the squad after the departure of Micheal Bradley in January 2014.

It is also worth mentioning that Yedlin made three appearances at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where The Yanks were knocked out in the Round of 16 at the hands of Belgium.
