Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella was delighted after his side overcame the Netherlands in a penalty shootout after 120 minutes of their World Cup semi-final finished goalless.

Sabella also began to look ahead to the final at the Maracana against Germany.

He reiterated that the Albiceleste will have to work as hard as they possibly can to win the trophy although he is certain that Argentina can do it.

“It’s a great joy to be in the final,” said Sabella in his post-match comments.

“There is such joy, such great happiness.”

“It was a difficult game, very tight but World Cup matches are like that.

“Now we are in the final we are aware of our qualities and certain that we can win the World Cup.

“We’ll give our all.

“We need humility, hard work and to give 100 per cent.”

The final which will be held on July 13 is Argentina’s first since 1990 when they lost 1-0 to West Germany in Rome.
