Lazio are reportedly interested in making a move for Sampdoria defender Shkrodan Mustafi during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old recently featured for Germany at the World Cup and has attracted interest from all across Europe due to his performances.
According to Corriere Della Sera, Lazio are preparing a bid to land Mustafi after his exploits at the World Cup continued his strong performances for the Blucerchiati last season.
With Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic interested in landing goalkeeper Federico Marchetti from the Biancocelesti, talks over a swap could heat up in the coming weeks.
Mustafi joined Sampdoria from Everton in January 2012 and has scored one goal in 51 appearances for the Blucerchiati.
