Sampdoria have confirmed on their official website that Swiss fullback Gaetano Berardi has left the club Leeds United.
“UC Sampdoria announces that it has sold outright to Leeds United AFC the rights of the player Gaetano Berardi,” read the statement on the club’s official website.
Berardi made 35 appearances in Serie A over two seasons for Samp, having arrived from Brescia where he spent five years in the first team after breaking through the ranks.
