Sampdoria sporting director Carlo Osti has revealed the club are still making decisions on the players leaving the club ahead of next season.

Osti revealed the club must make a decision on their goalkeeper for next season. Argentine Sergio Romero has returned from a season long loan from Monaco and Osti stated the club could sell the player this summer.

Speaking to Primocanale, Osti spoke about the club’s current mercato.

“Now there are so many names,” Osti mused.

“Outgoing we have some situations that unfortunately still influence us. If we could fix the outgoing market in the best way, maybe the president will give us more of a surprise to go forward.

“Frison and Bergessio are two players who we like. But we have to deal with Romero first.”

Osti also talked about the club’s striker situation.

“Having [Stefano] Okaka for the attack, we may seek an alternative for him.”

Sampdoria have been linked with Pablo Osvaldo of recent, but Osti has moved to distant the club from the Italian’s signature.
