Welcome back to the latest Serie A kit watch, where this time we look to Bergamo to see what Atalanta will be wearing as they take to the pitch next season.

Being the Atalanta correspondent for Forza Italian Football, I have been waiting for a while to see what exactly would come from the new relationship between La Dea and Nike, a partnership which was announced by the club in May.

The home kit keeps to the black and blue tradition in a very basic way. The shirt has no outstanding features and simply consists of black and blue vertical stripes, which are also consistent on either sleeve.

Like last season’s kit, all three shirts will display the crest in the middle of the chest area.

The kits have come under wide scale criticism due to the simplistic nature of the shirts and Nike have been accused by many Atalanta fans of being lazy in their design efforts.

There’s not a lot to say about the away or third kit. The shirt is plain and both are the very same in every way other than colour. The away kit is all white, with the third kit being a bright orange colour. Both kits will be complemented by matching shorts.

Despite it’s simplicity, I am a big fan of the away kit this season and look forward to seeing the Nerazzurri mounting another European challenge while wearing it.

Let us know what you think of the kits in the comments below.
