After releasing their home shirt for the coming season in May, Nike and Roma have revealed the away kit to be worn by the Giallorossi for the coming season.
Giallorossi supporters will no doubt be pleased with what Nike have come up with for their away strip, as it pays homage to a kit worn by the club in the 1960’s.
The away kit, much like the aforementioned home kit, is a relatively simple design executed in a way which results in a beautiful and elegant shirt.
There aren’t too many details of the kit; the shirt is white with a red and yellow sash beginning at the left shoulder and going diagonally across the shirt and behind the crest. The white top is matched with shorts and socks of the same colour.
The new shirt boasts a v-neck collar which has a red trim at the back of the neck and white at the front.
Inside the neck of the shirt there is a red pennant tab with the text ‘La Roma Non Si Discute Si Ama’ (Roma is loved without any question) on it, as is also present inside the home shirt.
The new kit is a product of Nike’s Dri-Fit technologies and there are laser cut ventilation holes beneath each arm on the side of the shirt.
As is a modern custom with Nike, the shirt is made from recycled materials and each shirt is made using roughly 18 recycled plastic bottles.
