ShaqiriBayern Munich’s Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri has admitted that a move to Serie A champions Juventus would be hard to turn down.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena in recent months and Juventus have often been listed as his most likely destination and the player has now revealed that a move to the Turin side is appealing.

“Juventus would definitely be a good option,” he was quoted by Tuttosport.

“Juventus are a huge club, who wouldn’t want to play for them? I’m currently with Bayern, but I do not see Juventus as a step back in my career.

“I’m on holiday right now and I do not yet know what will happen, my brother is handling my future.

“The only certainty is that I am contracted with Bayern until 2016. I do not know if there has been any contact between the two clubs.”

Shaqiri has been with Bayern since joining from Swiss outfit Basel in 2012 but has struggled to establish himself in the first team; last season he made just ten league starts but still managed six goals.
