Carlos Tevez Catania 0-1 JuventusJuventus forward Carlos Tevez would have demanded a move away from the Turin outfit if they had appointed Roberto Mancini as Antonio Conte’s successor.

Following Conte’s departure former Manchester City manager Mancini was among the front runners for head coach but they ultimately decided to appoint Massimilliano Allegri, much to the relief of Tevez.

“Mancini [as the] new coach? I will go and pack my bags then, I’m changing teams,” said Tevez in a phone call with Giuseppe Marotta according to Corriere della Sera.

Tevez, 30, infamously fell out of favour under Mancini at Manchester City when the forward refused to come on as a substitute against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in 2011 before going AWOL for three months following his bust-up with the manager.
