Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are interested in signing Torino forward Alessio Cerci during the summer transfer window.

With the departure of James Rodriguez looking more likely, the Red and Whites have identified the Italian international as a potential replacement to the former Porto man.

According to Sport Italia, Monaco are willing to pay up to €20 million to gain the services of 26-year old, with Rodriguez’s departure to Real Madrid looking inevitable.

Cerci joined the Granata from Fiorentina in August 2012 and has since scored 21 goals in 72 appearances for Toro.
