Torino have not given up in their attempts to land Napoli striker Duvan Zapata this summer.
The Granata are looking to strengthen their attack after the loss of last season’s top scorer Ciro Immobile and the rumoured departure of star Alessio Cerci.
Tuttosport report that Torino have asked about the availability of the 23-year-old Zapata but have yet to hear back from Napoli.
It is reported that Torino president Urbano Cairo will attempt to speed up talks this week with the Colombian striker possibly due to arrive on loan.
Zapata recently said that he’d prefer to stay at Napoli this season, but admits that ultimately his fate will be decided by the club.
