Udinese won’t stand in Francesco Guidolin’s way if Juventus come calling for him to replace departed coach Antonio Conte.

The 58 year old Italian stepped down from his position as Udinese head coach at the end of last season to take up a position to be the club’s technical supervisor.

His name has been mentioned as one of the names to take over at Juventus however following Conte’s shock departure late yesterday and the Zebrette’s sporting director Christian Giaretta has confirmed that they will allow Guidolin to speak to the Old Lady if they come calling.

“There would be the availability of our former coach for free as he currently included in the technical staff of our club,” Giaretta confirmed to SportItalia.

“However we have not been contacted by the Old Lady.”
