Werder Bremen are keen on signing Juventus’ forgotten man Sebastian Giovinco this summer.

The 27 year old Italian international was a peripheral figure last season at the Scudetto winners, and may be surplus to requirements at the club.

Tuttosport report that Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen are interested in bringing Giovinco to Germany this summer and could prepare a bid for the striker.

It is reported that Giovinco does not fit into his new coach Massimo Allegri’s plans for this season, and may be sold off to fund the signing of some new players.

Bremen will have to fight off the competition of Turkish side Galatasaray as new manager Cesare Prandelli is an admirer of Giovinco’s talents.
