West Ham United are preparing a fresh assault on Sampdoria ace Pedro Obiang as they hope to land the talented midfielder.
The 22 year old Spaniard has established himself as one of Sampdoria’s key players since arriving as a youngster from Atletico Madrid.
Sport Italia report that the Hammers are keen on adding Obiang to their squad ahead of the new season, and will submit a fresh bid next week.
West Ham were previously put off by Obiang’s high price tag of €8 million, but his inconsistent performances this past season have seen his value stagnate recently.
Italian giants AC Milan have also been accredited with interest in the talented midfielder in the past, and may be sparked into action.
