Inter goalkeeper Francesco Bardi will be spending the next Serie A season on loan at Chievo after completing a move from the Nerazzurri.

The 22-year-old Italian youth international spent last season on loan at Livorno and Inter have decided to loan him out again for more match experience.

Chievo announced Bardi’s arrival on their website and he spoke to Chievo TV about the pleasure of joining the Flying Donkeys.

“I am very happy to have landed at this club,” said Bardi.

“The sensations were positive from the outset. Chievo Verona quickly looked for me very decisively.

“I’m convinced I can lend a hand. Here are all the prerequisites to do well.”

Bardi will reunite with former Italy U-21 teammate Alberto Paloschi, who managed to score a hat-trick for Chievo when Bardi was in goal for Livorno.

“Reuniting with Paloschi makes me happy, with Alberto I have built a good friendship. We are two simple guys,

“And then in the light of what he did last year, it is better to have him as a teammate.”
