Goalkeeper Christian Abbiati will remain with AC Milan despite interest from Juventus.
The Bianconeri had been in contact with the 37 year-old with plans for him to act as back-up to Gianluigi Buffon, as current Juve No.2 Marco Storari in talks with Sassuolo,
According to Sportmediaset, Abbiati’s decision to turn down the transfer to Juventus was reportedly influenced by Milan’s vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Abbiati has been with Milan since 1998 but was on loan at Juventus, Torino, and Atletico Madrid in successive seasons between 2005 and 2008.
