AC Milan have deemed price for Torino winger Alessio Cerci too high as they look to bolster their squad before the start of the new Serie A season.
The 27-year-old, who scored 13 times in 36 league appearances for the Granata last season, is being valued at €20 million by Torino.
According to la Gazzetta dello Sport, Rossoneri owner Silvio Berlusconi, vice-president Adriano Galliani and coach Filippo Inzaghi met recently to discuss current transfer negotiations and that Cerci is their first choice. However, they feel that €10m would be a reasonable offer for the winger, who has two years left on his current contract.
Should Milan be unable to do a deal with Toro, 23 year old Brazilian ace Douglas Costa, who plays for Shakhtar Donetsk, is seen as a viable alternative.
