AC Milan defender Cristian Zaccardo has reportedly rejected the chance to join Genoa.
The 32 year old former Italian international is a fringe member of the Rossoneri and has been given permission by the club to seek out other destinations for next season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that Zaccardo had the option to join the Grifone this season, but he has reportedly rejected the opportunity.
The reason as to why is still unclear, but it is thought that Zaccardo is holding out for offers where he is guaranteed first team football.
Zaccardo made 13 appearances for the Rossoneri last season.
