AC Milan have stepped up their efforts to bring Club Brugge winger Maxime Lestienne to the San Siro this summer.

The Rossoneri have been alerted to the young Belgian’s availability and have been monitoring his situation ever since.

According to Sky Sports Italia the 22 year-old could be about to complete a loan switch to Milan with an option to purchase him at the end of the season.

Milan have been working on signing Alessio Cerci from Torino but the club’s demands could prove a stumbling block.

Lestienne’s agent will now speak with Club Brugge about Milan’s proposition in hopes of reaching an agreement with the Rossoneri.

The youngster has already been in action this season with two assists in a Europa League qualifier against Brondby.
