Robinho AC MilanAC Milan have confirmed that striker Robinho has left the club on a season-long loan to join Brazilian outfit Santos.

The 30-year-old was almost certain to leave the Rossoneri this summer and he recently expressed his love for Santos and had been linked with moves to the Middle East alongside Santos.

The deal was confirmed on the club’s official website and stated that the loan deal was until 30 June 2015, a move that will see Robinho return to the club where he started his career.

This move will mark Robinho’s third spell with Santos after his highly successful breakthrough with the side in the early 2000’s and his second spell was on loan from Manchester City in 2010 shortly before he joined Milan.
