Raul Albiol - NapoliNapoli defender Raul Albiol has stated the Azzurri should still be able to progress to the Champions League group stages, despite Tuesday night’s draw with Athletic Club.

The first leg of the tie saw the Spanish side leave the Stadio San Paolo with a 1-1 draw after Iker Muniaian put the visitors ahead only for Gonzalo Higuain to score a second half equaliser.

“We faced a difficult match,” Albiol told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“We wanted to win but now we have to think about the challenge of the return leg.

“There is still 90 minutes to go and we have to score a goal; we have a chance of getting through.”

Higuain himself left the field looking angry, but the Spaniard played down the incident.

“Higuain’s anger is normal but he scored a wonderful goal. There is still hope; we have 90 minutes go and we will work very hard. We will score.”
