Bonucci - Lyon v JuventusJust days away from the beginning of a new season in the english Premier League, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking at the possibility of adding Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci to his back line.

The recent sale of gunners defender Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona has the French manager searching for a solid center back to compliment the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Calum Chambers, who was purchased recently from Southampton.

According to Tuttosport, Wenger is thought to be interested in 27 year old Italian international who has been a regular feature for the Turin club that has helped them win the last three Scudetti.

Since joining Juventus in 2010 from Bari, Bonucci has gone on to make 173 appearances for the Serie A club, as well as garnering 38 caps for the Italian National Team.
