Roma striker Marco Borriello is reportedly looking to remain at the capital city club for at least half of the 2014-15 campaign.

The 32-year-old has been linked with newly promoted Serie A sides Palermo and Cesena in the final days of the summer transfer window and could be open to making a switch to one of the teams in the near future, but would like to stay with the Giallorossi for the time being.

According to Il Messaggero, Borriello is hoping to be able to remain at Roma until January in order to continue testing his luck in Rome and may be willing to make an exit this winter if all else fails.

The striker has left the Lupi on loan several times since his arrival from AC Milan in 2010 with his most recent departure being to Premier League side West Ham United during the second half of the 2012-13 season, where he only managed to make two league appearances due to an injury.
