Chelsea have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with AC Milan on a deal that will see Fernando Torres join the Italian side on loan.
The Rossoneri have been in search of a new striker since selling Mario Balotelli to Liverpool and it appears they have found his replacement in the Spaniard.
Chelsea’s official website have confirmed that the 30-year-old will join the Rossoneri on a two-year loan deal.
The deal will be made official once Torres agrees to personal terms and passes a medical examination.
The move brings an end to the Spaniard’s difficult spell with Chelsea, where he only managed to score 45 goals in 172 appearances after securing a €58.5 million move from Liverpool in January 2011.
