Chelsea look set to launch a sensational part-exchange bid for Roma’s Mattia Destro.
The 23-year-old has attracted the attention of the Blues as well as Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the Times, Chelsea would offer the Giallorossi €20 million plus Spanish striker Fernando Torres on loan for a season.
It is believed that Jose Mourinho sees the former Siena frontman as perfect foil for star striker Diego Costa and has instructed the Stamford Bridge hierarchy to move for the Italian.
Destro made 20 Serie A appearances for Roma last season and bagged 13 goals, despite missing a large chunk of the campaign through injury.
