AC Milan want to take Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel on loan for a season but will be made to wait for an answer by the Blues.
The 21 year old Dutch international had an injury ravaged debut season at Stamford Bridge last season, only totaling eight appearances for the Blues.
Sky Sport 24 report that Milan have asked Chelsea about taking van Ginkel on for next season, and expect an answer by the Blues on Monday.
Chelsea have a wealth of options in the midfield, and van Ginkel may find playing time restricted by boss Jose Mourinho.
Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has specifically asked for midfield reinforcements, and is also said to be interested in Napoli man Blerim Dzemaili.
