Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has accepted AC Milan’s second offer of a season-long loan deal.

The 21 year-old reportedly turned down the first offer from the Rossoneri in favor of staying at Stamford Bridge.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Dutchman has approved the proposal and will fly to Italy for a medical.

Fernando Torres is also switching North London for Milan and could have influenced Van Ginkel’s decision.

Milan have been looking to add a creative player to their midfield in the absence of Riccardo Montolivo.

The former Vitesse youngster could be in Italy as early as tonight to begin the neccesary procedures.
