Chelsea are reportedly willing to send Marco van Ginkel on loan to AC Milan for the 2014-15 season.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been steadily linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent days and it seems the Premier League side may finally be open to sending him to Italy despite previous rumours claiming a transfer to Milan would be highly unlikely.

According to Sky Sport Italia 24, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be holding a meeting with the Dutchman in order to determine his future with the Blues and may decide to allow the season-long loan to the Diavolo to go through.

However, these reports of Van Ginkel’s possible transfer to AC Milan also come just a few days after his agent publicly denied a move to the Serie A side, so the player’s future still remains unknown.

The midfielder arrived at Chelsea from Vitesse in July 2013 but made only a few appearances with the first team during the 2013-14 campaign due to a knee injury.
