Fernando Torres is being lined up by AC Milan as a possible replacement for Mario Balotelli.
The Chelsea forward has struggled since joining the club in 2011 and is out of favour at Stanford Bridge.
According to Sport Italia, Milan will send a delegation to London in order to begin talks with Chelsea over the possible transfer of the Spaniard.
One stumbling block in the move could be Torres’ high wages.
Torres may not be the only player moving from London to Milan, as the Rossoneri are also keen to sign Marco van Ginkel on a season long loan from Chelsea.
Milan look set to lose forward Balotelli as he completes his €20 million move to Liverpool.
Another possible replacement for Balotelli is Roma striker Mattia Destro and it is understood that Milan have made an enquiry to the Giallorossi about the player.
