New Juventus signing Kingsley Coman has revealed that he rejected multiple clubs in order to join the Old Lady this summer.

The 18-year-old, who has been dubbed the new Paul Pogba by the media and has even been likened to a young Thierry Henry, arrived at the Bianconeri from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in July and signed a five-year deal with the reigning Serie A champions.

Coman spoke to Tuttosport about why he chose Juventus over his other options and admitted that he hopes to follow in the footsteps of rising star Pogba.

“I’m here to retrace the footsteps of Pogba,” said the France Under-21 international. “There were many teams that had wanted me, but Juventus convinced me with their concrete plans for me.”

The attacking midfielder had been chased by a number of European giants ahead of his arrival to the Turin side including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.
