New Italy coach Antonio Conte has spoken ahead of the new Serie A season, which kicks off on Saturday and feels Juventus are favourites for the title.
Conte who left the Bianconeri in the summer by mutual consent, led the club to three successive titles and feels that new boss Massimiliano Allegri will take them to Scudetto number four.
”Juventus are my favourites,” stated Conte in the pages of Gazzetta dello Sport
”You can’t forget the others however.
”Roma and Napoli of course have to be mentioned.
”Garcia has many options at Roma and the blue of Napoli will have to overcome their early elimination from the Champions League.”
These are to be the top three finshers from the 45-year-old, but Conte went on to add about the other teams in the fray.
”Fiorentina and Inter have a lot of quality so should not be overlooked.’
”I am a massive admirer the Viola’s Juan Cuadrado. You all know how much I love the Colombian and wanted him at Juventus so they should be feared.”
The words of Conte soon closed when discussing AC Milan.
“I have to reserve my judgement on Milan at the moment.
”We must wait to see how the situation of Torres turns out. He is a devastating striker out on the field.”
