With speculation that midfielder Arturo Vidal is set to leave Juventus the agent of teammate Sebastian Giovinco Andrea D’Amico has expressed his belief that the Chilean will eventually depart before the summer transfer window closes.

However, the Italian admitted that despite having ties to the reigning Serie A champions via his client he had no inside knowledge on any deal the current financial power other leagues have other those in Italy mean it would be hard for the Bianconeri to keep both Vidal and Paul Pogba.

“In the current market situation Italian football is suffering,” D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.

“Vidal and Pogba are two opportunities [to raise funds], but I do not think both will be sold now.

“Vidal I believe will certainly leave [for Manchester United], not because I know anything in particular, but at these numbers for the Italian market you cannot keep a player who receives these proposals.”

Speaking of his own client D’Amico expects him to remain in Turin despite his contract expiring after the upcoming campaign and struggling for minutes last term, indicating he may have more opportunities under new coach Massimiliano Allegri.

“I think he [Giovinco] will stay, even if his contract is due to expire in 2015,” he continued. “He is a great player and Juventus knows this, you also know that Allegri is an intelligent technician.

“We have not met again to discuss contingencies for the moment, they have a lot of work in progress and this has been broken the situation [former coach Antonio] Conte.
