Bologna’s Archimede Morleo is rumoured to be close to joining MLS side DC United.
The 30 year old defender has been at the Rossoblu for four years but following the side’s relegation to Serie B, he could be playing elsewhere next season.
According to Sky Sport Italia, DC United are keen to complete a deal for the Italian. However Bologna are yet to confirm whether there are willing to let Morleo go.
Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and should an agreement be made, Morleo could travel to the USA within the next couple of days.
The Rossoblu will start life back in Serie B,after a six year stay in Italy’s top flight, against Perugia, although it is unknown whether Morleo will be part of the Bologna side.
