Europa League Group Stage Draw: Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina and Torino face favourable groups

Europa LeagueThe draw has been made for the group stages of the Europa League with Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina and Torino all handed favourable draws.

Champions League dropouts Napoli have landed in a group with Czech outfit Sparta Prague, Berne’s Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava.

Inter will face off in their bid to land another European trophy against Dnipro who eliminated Hajduk Split of Croatia to qualify, former European Cup finalists Saint Etienne and a difficult trip to Azerbaijan to face Qarabag.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina (who did well in this tournament last season) will face Greek side PAOK, Guingamp who make their group stage bow and Dinamo Minsk.

Having overcome two rounds to clinch qualification, the Granata have been rewarded with ties against Copenhagen, Club Brugge and Finland’s HJK Helsinki in a group they will be surely be pleased about.

The group stage of the competition lasts from September 18 to December 11.

Group A: Villarreal, Borussia Monchengladbach, Zurich, Apollon Limassol.

Group B: Copenhagen, Club Brugge, Torino, HJK Helsinki.

Group C: Tottenham, Besiktas, Partizan Belgrade, Asteras.

Group D: Red Bull Salzburg, Celtic, Dinamo Zagreb, FC Astra.

Group E: PSV Eindhoven, Panathinaikos, Estoril, Dinamo Moscow.

Group F: Inter, Dnipro, Saint Etienne, Qarabag.

Group G: Sevilla, Standard Liege, Feyenoord, Rijeka.

Group H: Lille, Wolfsburg, Everton, Krasnodar.

Group I: Napoli, Sparta Prague, Young Boys, Slovan Bratislava.

Group J: Dynamo Kiev, Steaua Bucharest, Rio Ave, Aalborg.

Group K: Fiorentina, PAOK, Guingamp, Dinamo Minsk.
