Fiorentina are close to signing German attacking midfielder Marko Marin from Chelsea as the player himself is expected to arrive in Florence and finalise the transfer.
The 25-year-old spent the 2013-14 on loan at Sevilla and the English side have agreed to send him out on another loan move to the Viola as he is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Fiorentina and Chelsea have agreed on a loan deal for Marin that includes the opportunity for Vincenzo Montella’s side to sign the former Werder Bremen man on a permanent deal for €5 million in the summer of 2015 at the time of loan’s conclusion.
Negotiations between all relevant parties are reported to have proceeded smoothly and the player is expected to arrive in Florence on Mondayor Tuesday at the latest to undergo his medical and officially be unveiled as a Fiorentina player.
Marin made 10 starts for Sevilla and featured as a substitute eight times and during his season-long spell in La Liga.
