Former Inter forward Adriano has revealed his interest in signing for Serie B side Catania.

The Brazilian was spotted having dinner in Milan with Rossazzurri CEO Pablo Cosentino in May, and recently opened up about a potential move to Sicily.

“Why not? It’s a good team and the only thing I care about is playing football,” said the 32-year-old said in an interview with Calcio 2000 magazine.

“I do not look at the division, but where I can play. I’d really like another chance in Italy, truly.”

Adriano has battled depression and alcohol problems during his troubled career, and has been without a club since April after short spells with Corinthians, Flamengo and Atletico Paranaense.

The former Fiorentina and Parma forward last played in Serie A with Roma from July 2010 to March 2011 before having his contract terminated by mutual consent to join Corinthians.
