Roma boss Rudi Garcia insists the Giallorossi have nothing to fear despite being drawn into arguably the hardest group in the Champions League.
The Giallorossi were drawn alongside English champions Manchester City, German champions Bayern Munich and Russian giants CSKA Moscow.
“There is respect for all of these teams, but not fear,” Garcia told reporters after the draw.
“After the draw everyone says we have no chance, but we will have our say and exploit any opportunities.
“I‘m sure the players will give everything.”
The tie will also throw up the intriguing return of new Bayern signing Mehdi Benatia, as he pits himself against his former teammates.
