Genoa are unwilling to part with midfielder Juraj Kucka in their attempt to sign Fiorentina stopper Facundo Roncaglia.
The Grifone have been chasing the Argentinian defender for the past few months, but have been unable to come to an agreement with the Viola yet.
Tuttosport reports that Fiorentina asked for Genoa star Kucka to be part of negotiations in a player-swap deal, but Genoa immediately dismissed the idea.
Genoa are still expected to try again for Roncaglia, but it is reported that Fiorentina are only willing to let the stopper leave on a permanent basis, while the Grifone would rather take him on an inital loan.
