AC Milan appear to have once again set their sights on Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin as they are rumored to be interested in bringing the 21-year-old to the San Siro this summer.
Perin, a long time time target for Milan has been often considered as a replacement for veteran Christian Abbiati despite the Rossoneri already making a commitment to Abbiati by extending his contract for one more year.
“Whether Milan has tried any attempts that is only a rumor,” Perin’s agent Matteo Roggi told Calciomercato.com.
“Mattia Perin is with Genoa but we would take into account a possible offer from Milan”
Milan appear to be hesitant with their second and third choice shot stoppers in Michael Agazzi who only recently signed from Chievo in May, and the inexperienced Gabriel as both keepers have looked weak in their preseason displays.
