Giovinco - Italy v JapanJuventus and Italy forward Sebastian Giovinco has stated his willingness to play in any role for his club and national sides, as long as he gets to make an impact on the match.

The 27-year-old was rarely used by the Bianconeri last season, but under new coach Massimiliano Allegri the striker appears to have earned a greater deal of playing time.

“I do not know which role I prefer, you’ll have to ask the coach,” he told TuttoJuve. “I try to be ready for any role before the game and do my best.”

Giovinco is yet to play for the Azzurri in 2014, but still has his sights set on national success.

“The national team is a goal I have had before, and even more so now.”
