Juventus are set to offer Sebastian Giovinco a new contract that will extend his stay in Turin until 2017.

The player nicknamed ‘Atomic Ant’ is tied up with the Old Lady until June 2015 and has been subjected to rumours linking him with a move away from club with local rivals Torino interested in signing the striker.

But Tuttosport reports that Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta is set to meet the 27-year-old’s agent for a new deal though he will remain the fourth-choice striker behind Fernando Llorente, Carlos Tevez and new signing Alvaro Morata.

Giovinco has also been linked with Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the past month and more recently with Inter as part of an exchange deal for midfielder Fredy Guarin.
