Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne’s future at the club has been thrown into doubt after his wife launched a sensational rant at the club’s supporters.
The 23 year old homegrown Italian international has endured an uneasy relationship with the clubs supporters for the last few months.
This continued on Wednesday night after he was booed as he left the pitch in their draw with Athletic Club in their Champions League qualifying match.
“Napoli does not deserve him. Today he does wrong and everyone is quick to point the finger. Tomorrow he scores and he becomes a saint,” Insigne’s wife Jenny Darone posted on her Instagram account.
Insigne, who scored nine goals in 51 appearances last season, has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the past.
