Inter defender Hugo Campagnaro is set to join Genoa on a two-year contract.
The 34-year-old Argentina international is reported to be one of several players surplus to requirements at the Nerazzurri for the 2014-15 season and is only under contract until June 2015.
According to SportItalia, Campagnaro is closer to an Inter exit as sporting director Piero Ausilio is negotiating a transfer to Genoa.
SportItalia further claims that the sale of the former Napoli and Sampdoria defender will allow Inter to sign Rolando from Porto after his 2013-14 loan spell.
The Nerazzurri have struggled so far this summer to agree to terms with the Portuguese side to make the centre-back’s transfer to the San Siro permanent.
