Inter have signed 17-year-old Christian Silenzi, son of former Nottingham Forest and Torino striker Andrea Silenzi who was the first Italian player to ply his trade in the Premier League, along with two other youngsters.

Silenzi played in the Athletic Soccer Academy last season and becomes part of the Nerazzurri’s movement to build for the future as they further boosted their youth ranks with the signings of 15-year-old defender Matteo Frigerio from AC Renate, and 17-year-old forward Davide Mariani from Football Club Oenotria 1908 on a loan deal.

These three transfers are an addition to those that have already been completed with the arrival of 15-year-olds Giacomo Zanetti and Marco Carraro from Padova, and goalkeeper Brian Vassallo from Siena Primavera.

Inter’s head of youth academy Roberto Samaden is working alongside the president Erick Thohir as they continue to hunt for the best talents from the many Italian youth academies.
