Italy U21 Squad announced for Serbia and Cyprus matches

Luigi Di BiagioLuigi Di Biagio has named his Italy squad ahead of their matches with Serbia and Cyprus for the Under-21 European Championship qualifiers.

Biagio’s team will be in Pescara on September 5th to take on Serbia before coming face to face with Cyprus in Castel di Sangro four days later.

Federco Viviani misses out on the game against Serbia due to suspension, but will be back for the final Group 9 game against the Cypriots.

Italy currently sit third in the group on 12 points , with Serbia and Belgium just a point above them, and the Belgians having played a game more.

Goalkeepers: Bardi (Chievo Verona), Cragno (Cagliari), Leali (Cesena);

Defenders: Antei (Sassuolo), Bianchetti (Empoli), Biraghi (Chievo Verona), Murru (Cagliari), Romagnoli (Roma), Rugani (Empoli), Sabelli (Bari), Zappacosta (Atalanta);

Midfielders: Baselli (Atalanta), Battocchio (Virtus Entella), Benassi (Torino), Cataldi (Lazio), Crisetig (Cagliari), Dezi (Crotone), Molina (Atalanta), Sturaro (Genoa), Viviani (Latina);

Forwards: Belotti (Palermo), Berardi (Sassuolo), Bernardeschi (Fiorentina), Longo (Cagliari), Trotta (Fulham).
