Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has revealed that he’s happy at the English club despite rumours linking him with a move back to the Serie A.

The 24-year-old, who arrived at City from Fiorentina last summer, has supposedly been on the radar of Juventus and Roma in recent weeks, though he insists that he wants to remain in Manchester and help his team succeed this this season.

Jovetic spoke to Sky Sports UK about his mission to do well for Manchester City after a rocky start with the club last term, denying claims that he could be leaving the team this summer.

“I don’t want to speak about last season because I have already explained what happened so many times,” said the Montenegrin.

“I just want to look to the future. I am happy to be here and I know that I’m going to be an important player for this club and I am happy to be a part of this team.

“Of course, I am expecting so much from me this season, I expect to score so many goals.”
